He has many many stories to tell as well. I get the sense he is a happy man, you have captured that happiness very well, to his core.

That eye! The colours surrounding her are great, you are drawn to her eye so well. Thanks for your comments. The EOS1V is 'water resistant' - kind of! Although I'm not going to test it. The lens? Not so water resistant... : )

YOu capture people's true essence, their soul, as good as anyone here. This is full of character, perfectly framed and it's interesting to see Velvia turning out so well when converted!

Quite surreal, colours are great and the eye is led perfectly to the person

Not up to your usual high standard. The angles and reflection are good. The poles distract and the sharpness is missing.

Jean, a stunning image but I need to know more about it. What amount of digityal editing has been done? Thanks, Darrin

Her expression is priceless Ben, a good capture. The lighting does seem a bit harsh though and there is an overall lack of crispness. 7/7 for EA!

Nice subtle colours but everything is a little centred for me. BTW, there was no PS work done in my shot, Children of Bali! Thanks.

Cute shot. Maybe 1/2 a stop up would have been better, the snow and dog would have seemed a bit crisper and whiter then.

Great lines and tones Ben. Did you consider cropping the top left hand corner off at all. It really cayches your eye and takes away from the main subject. The combination of the water is a good connection to the canoe, a nice touch.

A bit sharper would be perfect but a good capture of a great face. You will find that some people may get annoyed if you ask them to view your portfolio, it was rampant on another site where a lot of memebers here have come from, me being one. Cheers, Darrin
