Boy, does this bring back memories! As a teenager, I learned to fly on Tiger Moths... so this is really rolling back the years for me. So who cares if the horizon is tilted? Horizons DO tilt! Great shot...

Lcas, nice perspective and I like the line that runs straight from under the nose wheel. Do you know www.JetPhotos.net ? If not try posting it there too. www.airliners.net is another one but they are REALLY picky about what they accept (pro quality only). JetPhotos is a little less picky and more for the enthusiast. Given the nice job you've got you probably already know all this!

Excellent capture. Very well composed. Great color contrast, but the image is a bit to grainy and it gould use a little more sharpness. There also are some distracting white lines and spots in the photo that easely gould be cloned out. Nevertheless wonderful shot....Best regards Harry

Again, the overall score I gave was pulled down (6) :-/
(Just frustrates me because I don't think people should give low scores without giving some good suggestions.)

This is a very good snapshot. I like the color and the fog. I wish it had come off a bit sharper, but that can be difficult with night/fog shots. Nice work.

I think this is a shot with a lot of potential. It does appear underexposed. This wouldn't have been autofocus but autoexposure. It probably gave too much weight to the sky (which is brighter than neutral gray) and underexposed. You kind of have to get a feel for when your camera is going to do this so you can compensate or bracket, or if your camera has it use a spot or partial meter and figure the exposure yourself.
ANY WAY...the composition is good and the sky was certainly interesting. I think this would have had more impact shot on a contrasty slide film like Velvia. Properly exposed, the flag still would have gone black (emphasizing shape) because of how contrasty Velvia is, yet the sky would have come out very rich and saturated (emphasizing color).
This came out pretty good as is, and I think you did a good job.

And another thought... a slower shutter would allow the prop to be in full motion. Sunny 16 would have applied nicely here. I do like it though.

Hey man... this is a good shot. I might have used a smaller aperture to gain a deeper field of view to bring in your background a lil' bit, but it is still a good shot! congrats on a good in-air picture. Regards!
