Great capture, Lucas! A very clever shot. Remindes me of the old Hitchcock movie "The Birds"! Congrats!..... Lucas
PS: I took a look at your portfolio and profile. Besides the coincidence of first name, I also graduated in Engineering at an Air Force college here in Brasil, but I did not follow the military career and moved to the Industry to work for General Motors for 30 years - retired last year !! Good luck with your creer as a pilot! ..... Lucas

Looks like the popcorn worked. It's a nice shot. You can almost
see the seagulls moving.

Too bad you didn't have a flash; her skin tone is a bit too close to the background. I'd suggest turning this to a B&W photo & adjusting contrast. Just a 1 min edit below:

Although it is a funsaver picture, the photograph is outstanding in the emotional effect that it creates. Sometimes great pictures are obtained because the photographer recognized that a 'picture was there' and took the time and effort to photograph the scene, regardless of equipment available. Congratulations on a good picture.

Ooh, this one's pretty, too. I like the slight panorama crop, and the colors are almost antiqued they're so soft. Very nice.

This is possibly also my favourite of yours. Try the unsharp mask in Photoshop, it should clean this up a bit. Great colors, perspective.

I'd bet this angle was chosen specifically to eliminate a messy foreground. It's my typical solution to cars, lawnmowers, etc, and it works pretty well, especially when you've got a nice bright sky like this one.

Normally it'd be a problem, but I rather like that the left-hand fellow's head is cut off by the image edge. I would crop out the slice of face to the far right, though. Everybody but the central two figures looks dead. Nice scary picture, Lucas.

Great shot! My dad's flown Marchettis and enjoyed it. Daytona's a pretty beach and you got a good angle of it; you could lessen atmospheric haze in Photoshop but I think it might add to this photo, to emphasize your height and separate the plane from the ground.

The exposure here is ideal; anything more would have burned out the plane silhouettes, and the dark clouds only add atmosphere. Great!!

Nice shot. More taillights would have helped, but sometimes it's hard to tell what will end up on the film. A lense hood might help reduce the glare from the light at the top left also.

Great aerial shot. Beautiful overview at Daytona. You are a very lucky guy Lucas to have the fortune of taking place in an aircraft and take great shots like these....Best regards Harry

Nice shot! Just read a book about night photography you might like if you don't already have it: "The Complete Guide To Night & Low-Light Photography" by Lee Frost. One thing I'm anxious to try that I haven't is Tungsten film since I've seen the results illustrated in this book. It removes the extreme yellowish cast emitted by tungsten lighting.
