Randee:
I like this image a great deal and don't understand the lack of comments. It is unique as well as beautiful. The use of diagonal elements is very strong and the blur works.

this Lomo-Holga like series is very appealing; strange, un-natural, not the cup of tea of many but for me very refreshing
my very best...txules

How is it that you image gets 3 comments and this http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1495705 gets 55 for a very ordinary and poorly post processed image.. I just don’t get it… is this person a moderator or something on this site ne way that’s my little grip well done again.. keep up the great work.

Couldn't agree more Andre. There's freshness and life in Randee's work, even when images are meant to be sombre.

Hi Rina/Randee,
I'm just going to jump in to this one for a quick comment Rina. I think you are right about the artistic decisions. I think Randee really excels with her close cropped portraits. The Close cropped style really does a lot to eliminate unnecessary clutter in the images and gets right into the personality of her subjects.

Yep, I could tell from the thumbnail I was going to love this. Great 70's polaroid colour treatment. Gives it a wonderfully quirky feel.

I'm a huge fan of the dark vignette and I think it works well here. Particularly as the colours in the image are pale, it needs something to make it 'pop' against a grey usefilm background.

Great composition and choice of tones Randee. Love that reflection.
