Martin,
Ok, don't laugh. I don't reall know what f/stop is either.
I am just learning more than just time value.
I have been shooting with a Canon Elan 7 for the past few years until last week when I upgraded to the Rebel XT digital.
So, I am here more as a student, looking to learn all I can to be better at this.
Any help is welcomed.

Great shot, I wish the raft weren't there. Draws the eye to it instead of the family. Sun looks a little harsh on the man's chest. But great shot, love the busy background. Lots of people in small space. Very Nice.
