I really like the limited DOF. I'm sure others will disagree, but I like when only a small part is in focus, it forces you to see what the photogrrapher took.

Bit too dark. Fill flash on the horse would have helped a lot to brighten him up. The b&w looks to be the right choice, howveer its just too dark around the eyes. Also, you could have left more space about his head.

beautiful macro shot.. However your image is grainy. In order to reduce grain, you may want to set noise level correction on your digital camera. I believe Minolta DiIMage does not have the noise correction (if i am correct), Nikon CoolPix does have that feature for higher ISO. So, i took the liberty of saving your image, and ran it thru a software called "NeatImage", and removed the grain.. Here it is.. just click on it once.. and you will see the difference.. Hope this helps you in better endevours.. Please rate my http://www.usefilm.com/showphoto.php?id=133421

Nice soft look very well done, a reflector or a white sheet to the lower left would have high lighted the hair and put some twinkle in the eyes. Over all very nice, I like it.

IMHO, it is a little difficult to tell apart the toes and the arm of the parent. All the rest is truly excellent. I particularly like the soft-focus like effect and the lighting of the toes. Softness really fits here.

Great moment of two lovely babies together.
Not very good when it comes to lighting, though. You should have use a flash or a source of light in front of the baby. It would bring out the great colour of the eyes and everything else.
Well lit it would be a very nice photo.
But I bet you love it nevertheless. I would, with such beautiful babies.
