This has an aesthetic I associate with a certain style of Japanese painting. It looks like it is composed of a minimal number of brush strokes. Very beautiful, serene, and wintry.

really touching... the image, the title, all work together with your choice of lighting to create a wonderfully moody portrait, I do have to agree with jay on the lighting on the neck, otherwise, perfect!
