Merci Bobby,

regarding the Channel Shift ... you have to exchange the red and the blue channel against each other.

Thanks Claudia!

You like IR and have a D30? Well, then it's time to order a Hoya R72 IR filter ;-)
But maybe the Cokin 007 is a better alternative, cause you can use that filter with all your lenses, you only need the adapter for each lens.

Thanks Peter,

yes, you're right ... the lighting wasn't optimal. Thank god, this location isn't far away, so I have a chance for a second try ;-)

Quite a nice corner in IR !
Perhaps it could have been stronger with the pathway sunlit .. would have given better contrast .. still like it !

Hi Chris
Superb shot My friend, the IR effect achieved in the woods is excellent
What do you meean by "Shifting IR chanel"?
Many thanks for commenting "Lonely tree IR"
the shot was taken at 400 iso, while playing with the colors the grain was incrased
If you wish I can send you IR actions for photoshop
the cokin P007 and hoya 72 are quite similiar, what are the problems you have with this filter?
I added you to my friensds list
My best regards

Thanks Margaret,

I'm not absolutely satisfied with the colors ... I would prefer a bit less magenta in the plants, a more blueish tone. Maybe next time ;-)

Thanks Zeev and Peter!

@Peter: Thanks for the tip ... I already tried everything to de-noise while avoiding to loose detail ... the upload limit is too small for high quality IRs.

Don't think the noise is disturbing.
A trick to soften this is to duplicate the background layer, add Gaussian blur (radius 5), and then Multiply this layer with the background, then choose the preferred opacity ..

Your toning is very nice, composition very balanced .. really a good try !!
