There was no specific reason for choosing color. It looked better to me in color. There are 4 different layers in the photo. The sand, water, trees and the sky. I thought the color version will be more effective to separate them. Thanks a lot for your comment as always.

nice tonal values. One looks at it and almost wonders if you could get rid of the tree line all together and just have structure, that it probably would be a more powerful image. The treeline, even though faint, distracts me and doesn't add anything---ron s.
