A very interesting play of light. At first it seems like moving from night to day. Actually, even now it feels like that to me. The stroking gives it a good effect but doesnt appeal to me.
i love the concept though.
It is great learning from your photographs, most of your photographs show very intersting and creative angles and perspectives.

Was watching the match from my home in Delhi ... its incredible how you feel connected !

love the photograph and the concept you have in mind ... the colours and the light works well ... only thing that really spoil the composition is the tight crop on the top. would have been nice if i could see more of the steam and a bit of the wall above

regards

I do like the composition a LOT .... and the cropping works well for the photo.
If the colours especialy on the flower were more prominent it would be a brilliant photograph.
I was thinking maybe you could desaturate the bark a bit but I love the colour of the tree too.

Regards.

love the photograph ... you have captured it in the right moment and the shaddow of the flower on the kurta really grabs me ...
however, i feel the rough cutting on the left shoulder sort of takes away form the charm ... but otherwise its a really nice photo and makes me laugh

yes, this is in India . Leh is absolutely beautiful . It is remote, modern, and still hasnt lost its charachter . The monasteries are beautiful and very calming .

Even i wasnt comfortable with the exposure and the dof . Mainly because the monk was the main subject of my composition and he seems a little lost . Will take more care with that in the future. : )

thank you for your comments .

thank you ...

about the curve, i noticed that and tried to make a bulge but this was when i had already got the rectangle on the eye so even the iris was becoming a huge bulge. but now im going to curve out the rectangle and then move it onto the eye . lets see how that works out .

will see how it looks with a little more colour too ...

thank you all a lot for your patience and comments

what i like about this photo ... if you look at the shadows only and then the statues only, the shadows seem to speak a lot more than the statues ... which look quite cold ..
it is actually the first photo ive seen this in in such an obvious manner !
