Mooie foto Gerry. De vlindertuin in Knokke? Echt een ideale plaats om je met het fototoestel uren te gaan amuseren...

This is a great picture, as well lighting wise, as compositional and DOF-wise.

Love the lead lines on this one, and the colors and the flickering of the water. Great picture!

You captured this little girl very well, very natural indeed. I love the selective color you've used. The little tighing lint on the umbrella is a bit distracting, but not really an issue.

Great shot!!!
Great timing, great framing (close on top and bottom, and yet enough space in front), great shutter speed to capture the motion of the weels, and great panning, you got him tack sharp, and the background is nicely blurred!

Very dreamy effect indeed, love the use of the DOF, keeping the stems pinsharp, and the rest soft. Love the background, and love the colortone. Great picture Femke!

This is one of the best ghost pictures I've ever seen, really love this one Jason. The location really adds to the picture, same as the props do.

I love the colortone and the composition, the branch that takes you through the picture. The one leaf in focus. Very good, very moody.

Prachtige combinatie van kleuren Teunis, en de reflectie erbij maakt het geheel helemaal af!

I love the patterns and the great colors. The man and his grandchild (I suppose), are very well in this picture, they really add an athmosphere to the picture, they tell a story. I do have a question: Is there a reason for not going closer, and cropping the piece of wall on the left and the part of the weel on the right out of the frame? I tried a little cropping in PS, hope you don't mind?

I love the mood, and the story the picture is telling, the same material, but in different ways. I love the choice of B&W, but I dislike the flash-reflection, especially on the first picture.

The desaturation and the mirroring really created a superb picture from what would otherwise only be a rather dull tree... Very well seen!!!

Honestly, at first I disliked the dark left upper corner, but watching it a little longer, and getting used to the not very saturated colors, I started to get the feel you wanted to put into this picture. Then I remembered the title, and I really got it... Great picture Paolo!!! Suits the time of the year...

Good composition, and you've seen the good contrasting colors very well.. The kites don't seem to be pinsharp, or is that due to compression? Overall a very nice picture!

Great picture Darlene, the colors are very vivid, and the bird is incredibly sharp. Seperating it from the background worked very well with the selective DOF. One little disadvantage is the leaf which is hiding its one paw.

Love the effect... qt first I thought it could use a little more contrast, but on the other hand, that is a big part of the feel of the image. Great shot... Think it would be nice in sepia too...
BTW: How do you like the 5D?

Pose, model and location are simply great, same as the technique, only the shadows on her face are bit distracting (yes, I actually looked at her face!!!! ;-) ). Maybe some fill flash or a reflector would help?

Actually, I like the white background, it gives the veil more brillance, and gives the overal picture a more high key effect, which suits this picture very well. As for the face, I like the feel she has to it, and that it adds to the picture.
