Great shot, wonderful contrast between the flower and the background, but also that you resisted the temptation to make both areas equal size. (oh well, I would have this temptation..;-) Very nice piece of work!

Yes, it's +, but for my feeling it's more a cross giving the image a more religious significance. In either case it's a nice find. Well done..

Weird.. That "I'm a punk" wasn't a crowd pleaser, oh well.. But from a joyful and funny drawing like this I would have expected some more reactions..

Nice reflection of the clip and a nice shot in general. The edges of the shadows do look like they are a but shopped off.. like after using the magic-want and deleting everything not selected.. An impression strengthened by the shadow of the sharp edge between the pen and the clip and the round shadow which doesn't seem to have the right shadowy gray. but then again, you write you only cropped the image.. weird..
Nevertheless.. nice shot..

I couldn't resist.. A different crop, I fixed the levels somewhat to lighten the image up. did the stick with a little soft light to bring out the detials and removed one spot which was a little to much..

Prachtige vogel en kleuren. Alleen het zwart (water) oogt wat vlekkerig. Mischien iets te veel gecomprimeerd.. En zelf had ik waarschijnlijk de verleiding niet kunnen weerstaan om het vlekje op z'n rechtervleugel weg te halen..

Simple indeed, but especially simple shots like this one strongly favor the rule of thirds. It feels somewhat unbalanced now. If course a different crop already would do wonders..
