Awesome shot bud. It is a bit out of focus, don't know if you meant for that to happen or not, you might try using your macro mode if you have that on your camera, that helps with detail, I would have loved to see the sharp detail in the wings.

Looks like you did good with that accident. I remember that. Maybe a little more contrast would have been nice.

Larry, how in the world did you get that? I have no idea how to time lightning shots. Did you do anything in particular or just shot until you got it? That's kool. I won't be posting any more pictures until after summer, so I'll try to get some neat ones from Memphis. If ya need anything e-mail me, otherwise comment to me on here and I'll try to read it. See ya Larry.

P.S. My last photo was really bad, but I didn't have anything else to post, especially not lightning cuz I couldn't get any that night!

Larry, the big black bottom really takes away from the focus on the sunset. And the oil pump in the distance isn't too noticeable. You could have done a square image and crop off quite a bit of the black bottom. I posted another possibility of what you could have done.

I think there could have been more contrast. Or somehow emphasize the green. Well taken and balanced though. Since you have already played with that I guess you can improve your photo taking with every constructive comment.

Very lovely lighting on the clouds from the beautiful sunset. I like the angle you put the tree at. It makes it look like the clouds are connected to the tips of the tree branches. You rock!

I like how the dark tree on the left draws initial attention, then the sunlight the flows through to the right, moves you across the landscape and you notice how the light streaks and weaves in and out of the barbed wire fence. Very lovely, bet it was even more fun being there in person.

Very fitting name. I like the repitition and how the shadows interact with that. Very nice shot, could use a little more contrast, maybe if you edit that in PS or something. I don't think that would take away from the natural look of the photo, just enhance it. Good job.

Could be sharper, maybe if you used macro mode on your camera, that might help. I love seeing water droplets being captured. I tend to use photo editing software for a little bit more contrast, and to adjust the brighteness so you can see what the subject is. I think some contrast could have been used here to make bolder lines and shapes. Good stuff Larry, can't wait to see more.

I like the idea behind this. Very original and interesting perspective. COuld have let the blue background be a little smoother. Also, you left a comment on a pciture of mine, but I was not able to translate it, however, when you leave a comment, there is a language option on the top right of the box you write your comment in. If you put the language on Italian (which I believe is the language you speak), it will allow users to translate your comments. So if you could please repeat what you said to me by selecting your language, I would love to know what you said!

I love the screen idea. Would have been nice if God would have let the lightning a little higher in the sky, but hey...I like it. It's hard to capture lightning. Lovely Larry!

COuld use some better contrasts. But I really like this picture in sepia. It's very hard to catch lightning, but you did, and it turned our wonderfully. Is there any secret you have to catching lightning? Have you done it before? Let me know.

I love the title of this Larry. I think you are getting very creative and you have nice titles. This fits nicely. I don't know if you put much thought into the title, but it's very suitable. I love the perspective of the cylindrical item (rolled up drawing paper?) and the lighting it has on it. As for the last picture I added. That white part was the sunlight...after I grayscaled it, I copy and pasted the colored squares. I thought it would accent that part more, which is what I wanted...it was taken at the Fox Theatre.

Beautifully done. Very rustic. Reminds me of a bunch of abandoned country buildings here in Kansas. I don't know if there was much sunlight, but more sunlight would have been interesting. I still love it.

Could have had a tighter shot on this Larry. I like the texture also. Nice perspective. One of the few you use over. Some things are interesting to look straight up at. The thing sticking out on the left side gets in the way of the light. Would have been nice to see it symmetrical or at least without that obstruction. Good job.

I love the refractions of light through the glass on its own shadow. Nice concept and you pulled it of very well. I like your work, I'll keep my eye out for you.

I love sunsets and this would have to be one of the best ones I have seen. Lovely cloud and nice horizontal reflections in the water! Hooray for sunsets!

I really like the blue sky on the yellow/brown sand. Does look like person on the dune is looking around. Nicely executed!

Wow, dramatic barely describes this (although it popped in my head). I absolutely love the sun and cloud composition in the background, amazing. Reminds me of the crucifixion right as the world was enveloped in darkness for 2 hours. Very well taken and speaks a plethora of words!

I don't know exactly what you personally are trying to convey with this picture, but it sure can excite the senses! Very well done. I like the earth tones and the lack of a busy background! Enjoyable!

Yes, a tripod is my next purchase for my camera. I've been trying to make do though, using my head (thanx Larry) and knee and anything solid.
