Phil,

Was this taken at the kraton? Yogya is my father's hometown. There is a certain kind of hue in the colours?

Wow! It looks like it is ready to come out of my screen! How close were you from this reptile? I've always tried using macro but was never successful. The subject became blurry or it will focus on the background instead. Any tips?

One thing I learn about about waiting for people to clear is that it will never happen. I think this picture is good with the people in it. It makes it less lonely.

Lidian, Flores island is one of my favourite island. Actually, thre is no effect on this photo. Everything is natural even the mist! That is why I have to rushed down before I lost my way, which actually, I did!

Hello Marco,

Thank you for your comment. Like you, I also prefer honest photography. With this photo, I was just playing around with the photoshop. Normally, I never adjust any of my photos. What you see is what you get. Luckily, I have the original still

Hello Klaas,

Yes, it is the Zaanse Schans in Holland. I was there the first time in Sept 2003. I was backpacking with my son who was 15mths old then. I was very lucky to have good weather adn take many good photos. I might go back to to your country again one day and perhaps visit different places.
