wonderful night shot, it conveys a certain mood very effectively. the composition is clever but i'm not sure about the slight tilting to the right -was it intentional?

hi James,
the ghost effect is marvellous but i would like the rest of the picture to be sharper -in order to contrast better with the blurred figure ;)

welcome to Usefilm, Dragan :)

your picture is a well seen wide-angle shot and the silhouette effect created by the backlighting is nice. i think the composition might be more dynamic if the sitting person was closer to the camera and filled a greater section of the frame - that way the contrast of the two silhouettes would be more eye-catching ;)

hi Djordje,
i'm not sure what you were after, but the length of the exposure is just about perfect to record the available light and create those lightlines, making your image rather yummy (only the silhouette of the wiper distracts a bit)...
if you like similar shots with moving cars at night feel free to visit my 'nightrides' portfolio ;)

even 'spontaneous catches' are enough for beautiful faces to show their style...and it's all the better if the spontaneous catcher is a skilled photographer as well ;) now,the position of the mirror and part of the girl's head somehow distract from the sense of balance in this composition. But being aware of how it was made I know it's not essential, so I'll say nothing more.
be happy marija :)

hi Ursula,
certainly not the best time of day to shoot similar landscapes, but the view is really great and the September light whispers its presence

i believe that there's always room for improvement Michael...that said,i want to thank you for your nice words, and also confess that the title has no conscious relevance to the image (as has been the case with many of my other usefilm submissions) :-P
