Fabulous shot!!! Love the glass-like ice, great textures and colors to look at!! The silky smooth white water looks like low hanging mist... weird but wonderful and the brown and gold of the rocks is a great addition.... excellent composition... well captured!!

I love this. It's very moody and surreal loking. The cloudy mist around the rocks. Is that a slow shutter effect on water or fog? It's really quite the sight. The gold sparkles in the rock are subtle and beautiful and the ice overhanging is stunning. Gorgeous colour throughout and wonderful composition. Into my favourites this one goes. A strong and bold image.

There are so many enchanting and excellent quality photographs in your collection. Congratulations! It difficult to know where to start, so I will pick this one which has received very few comments. I will remark on the print quality which is sharp throughout, beautiful contrast, and well saturated tones! There is a lot of tension between the smooth fabric of the water flow and the hard stones. The rocks are well place to keep the eye moving and exploring the details in this composition.

Congratulations on your POD choice, Gerry. It's a beautiful, beautifully composed photo. When ice is melting, it melts at the bottom and forms a lip that makes the ice look more like it has been placed on the object. This is an observation and not a criticism. I submitted a photo of an apple with a snow cap on the first day above freezing, and I admit that it looks a bit like a bad attempt at post-processing. Yours doesn't look bad in the least. Very well done!

This is so eye appealing, very beautiful. The gentle texture of the water on the right hand side of the rock contrasts so well with the strong texture that embraces the rock onn the left. Very creative.

Hi Gerry, Superb winter schene. The icy tones, and the almost smoke like water due to the slow shutter are fantastic. As are the variety of tones in the ice. I think this is what makes it a good choice for POD. The dull, subdued (evening?) light works well!
