I like the clarity of the shot. If the background was shaded a little more it would look more real, but I love the colors and contrast.

thanks, the official image were the shells very close together with dry sand. I didnt really like the contrast because white sand was too close to whice shells.

Love it. Is your friend a loved one because many say shells are symbols of love... compostition loks god but i think i they were placed more to one side or another it would have helped.

Very good macro !! I have taken many times photos of spiders !
Here is a trick to keep them calm : try to keep them in a narrow area and bring near a hot lamb (~10cm) ! In few seconds the beast will stay calm for several shots !
