I like the softening effect a lot. I also like the rather sepia like tone. Nice job.

What I like about it is it's soft, but the detail and image quality is very high. I also happen to have one of those cameras and now I know where they copied most of the Holga from. Your attempt to create a nostalgic image really worked out fine.

Nice soft landscape image...would have liked to seen a little more details, size is a bit small.

Dulcy...

I like borders very much. You might have noticed in my posts...

I said that I like it but i m not too crazy abt it. Basically because of the following reasons ( you asked for it ... lol )...

- The red line in the border is little too thick for my taste. It could be very thin, hair thin.
- The title font too stylistic that takes my attention too much. again could have been little thinner and smaller.
- The positions of the title and your signature are not ok, IMO. Could have been both aligned in right side or left side or One in right side and the other in left side.

Oh Well... these are just my personal preferences. These things vary from person to person... So... I leave it to you...

After read this I hear you laughing... :-)). lol.

Hmm.. that's interesting Elangs. It must be my monitor because it doesn't appear to have lost anything. I'll have to look at it on another monitor I guess. May I ask what it is about the border you dislike? Color? Text... title? Are you just not a fan of borders? lol I'm just curious... thank you so much for writing!

Very nice Dulcy. Love the composition, framing. I m just wondering, is it a bit overexposed... because the wing seem to be lost some details. Did you bracket? Try some burning digitally, if possible.

Like the framing but not too crazy about it.

This has lot of emotional touch Dulcy. It deserves to be displayed on the Delicato contest. Love the soft lighting... Nice shot.

I agree about the sharpness. I manually focused and was in a big hurry to grab this image. Sometimes, you hate to let moments get past you. I figured if i got the shot at all, it might not be perfectly sharp, but it still has a very nice emotional impact.. IMO anyway lol

Thank you!!

I really like the picture.. very beautiful and brings up the smile...
I just wish if it was a bit sharper. But I must say, it's a very expressions of both, the mother and the baby are very natural... and beautifully captured.

Thank you for your comment... I always crop very tightly, I guess it's my thing lol It's not very often that I don't crop that way. I suppose it's a matter of preference :0)

Quite a nice shot Dulcy, the crop seems very tight and severe though. I like the pose and the expression and the natural lighting is just great.
