Great action shot. The dog's expression is priceless. Excellent job also capturing the snowball that has his attention.

This is adorable. I saw on one of your comments elsewhere that you bought a 100-400 L; it's a great lens, I just love mine.

Hi Steve,
Funny, I don't recall that you even asked me to email you! So I guess we're still friends!
Thanks for you comments, I appreciate your advice on the Mark II purchase as well. I haven't had the chance to go and look into the L series lense.
I'm in Toronto this weekend so maybe I'll get a chance to look. Cheers!

Blur be damned, this is a great shot!

We fight on so many levels! We have a phrase over here, mostly used over quabbles at football games, "hand-bags at dawn", I think this would qualify!

.... well I AM the only one here.....

Superb detail. You want a 1D MkII why?????????

I note there are a few 300mm F4 L's on UK Ebay at the moment. I thought they were a lot, lot more expensive.

I hope you are still speaking to me Angela. My suggestion about emailing me in my earlier comment was just out of friendship, nothing more.

Cheers
Steve.

I think the B&W was absolutely the right choice. I find that grey horses can be a bit diffcult to shoot...they're beautiful (my mare is a grey!!) but they can pose a particular challenge, photographically speaking.

Very well done!
