I like the originality of using black and white for a flower, and I do like the composition, but the problem that I have with the picture are the out of focus shadows which make me wonder what they are, and as a consequence, my eye keeps being yaken away from the flower itself.

WOW, what a outstanding view. Liked the idea to include a way to create a very intersting vanishing point to conduct the viewer into the scene. The warm gold tones of the early/late light help to pop up this image making a pleasure shape. An flawless work, Piero. Congrats.
