That is just an excellent shot. It is fun to do concert photography. Have you worked with really fast film? You could do some great stuff with your friend.

I like this. Very harmonious to me.

Nicely done with a bright but defocused background to make her and her clothes stand out. Only nit would be clipping her fingers at the bottom of the frame.

The natural framing gives this a movie-like quality (that I like very much).

Thanks Jeanette - so you think the blue is overdoing it?

We lead the viewer with increasing degrees of force with the image, the title, and the text we choose to describe it by. Finding the right match depends on the person viewing (of course). In this case your title was perfect for me, enough to make the association, and sufficiently imprecise for me to make it my own "temple". When you elaborate in the about here, you override my own ideas in a way, suggesting I follow the train of thought you had, when in fact I perferred to go my own way (which I can still do of course :-)

I see your piano :-) Might've cloned the lamp.

Fantastic clarity and sharpness in his face given the long shutter!

Talk about making lemondae out of lemons :-) A very tender and beautiful picture that can symbolize making the best of an unfortunate (weather) situation... I would think this photo will be a most cherished memory for the couple.

Unusual idea with a good result! Good color and a good idea to remove all other lighting in the room. I'd worry about doing something bad to my lens :-)

The flash killed a little bit of the life in the colors but it is a great little slice. Just before he spots you he hears the "click" :-)

I shot this with the intention of converting to b/w but the very bright sunlight on the building left me with such a powerful blue sky I couldn't help but to show it...

I like the idea of this as a temple without any further explanations... Call me manipulative, but I would have broken off the straw closest to the camera :-)

Yes, that is good. I also like the stuff growing on the roof - a good sign of decay.

It has a good graphical sensibility to it. It appeals to me particularly because of the quirky drama you introduce with the orange on the silver platter and the knife. Who will get carved up first (and by whom?)

Bold colors for sure :-) You strike a fine balance between a recognizable subject and the things that make the mind wander off in other directions.

I wonder if Baha is concerned about the texture. I am - a silky sheen to that steel would be nice... Great subject and framed very will with natural means.

QQF. Very peculiar perspective, but it also seems that this is "optimal" in some sense for viewing this scene. Nice symbolic associations too.

That looks great. The left side of my brain is sure that corner is a right angle but my right brain disagrees strongly!

Hi Becky - this girl doesn't do "posing" - it may have something to do with that girl power thing. We she does sometimes but they are easy to pick out from the goofy smile she produces. Hence the crop too - the left side is simply the edge of the frame :-) That said, I agree with you that having the whole (blurry) hand there would not be an improvment.

I like that. It almost looks like liquid water but for little details and the sheen that gives it away as thin, thin ice.

Very nice indeed. A perfect questionmark for sure, but to me it very strongly suggests a drop. Just a tad deeper DOF would have been nice to bring the very tip into focus as well.

I am happy that everybody seems to read her expression favorably. She was a little embarrassed but she did so love those pink azaleas.

It was more of a hypothetical suggestion... And if this doesn't make you a nature photographer, then I don't know what it makes you... A magician maybe?

Pretty low light - maybe more detail if you had stronger illumination? I like it though. Preparing projections for a show?
