I would have preferred it a little more dark, but those colours are nice - playing with fire...?

those are very nice colours - I also like how the bird seems to create a path into the grass. Very nice capture.

Marilia,
this is my very first pic taken of a flower. When I saw it (the pic) it reminded me of you and your garden - that's why it is dedicated to you. And because of you, Mary Bell, Ada Dobre and Jeanne Wells from whom I've learned recently (but not too late) to appreciate the beauty of 'the simple things'.

Thank you, Mary Bell
actually I prefer it darker, as well, despite of (almost) everybody else's opinion. I think it makes it as mysterious as Mona Lisa's smile...

I think the depression would have been deeper if she hadn't looked in the camera. Maybe she just stopped giving for a moment to look at the one taking the shot

Quite unusual to have negative space in the bottom of the photo. But I like it that way !

a 'slight' smile on your face would have expressed more 'madness' - you look far too serious. Nevertheless, I like it...and the lights reflected by the iris of your eyes. M

I like the way her face is all shining... ) she has a 'clean' face now, isn't she?
I also like the blured edges of the pic

James,
without any doubt that's a very powerful photo, Tara's eyes and look capture the entire image - she looks like defending her feelings...but I kind of changed my opinion - her feelings might not be for Jarred...the look is not addressed to him, and it's very provoking. I agree with your crop, though - as the viewer should stay focused on her eyes/look not at any other possible distracting elements in the pic.

it's a very interesting approach. I would preffered to see a tight crop, excluding the bottom. but I like it as it is, as well

oh, man! for a moment I was afraid that it is a 'serious' one. I love the delicate sense, despite the heavy graines. Knowing that it a wine stain adds humour, as well and as usual.
