Looks like an Iris of some sort, I can tell that because it's a very good image - I like your positioning of the plane of focus, it's sharp where the most interesting detail is. Well done. :~}

I used to use Kodak 200 gold as well Patrick, the colours really are rich - I do remember the blues coming out like this :-)

Very interesting! Sometimes you just take photos, thinking "oh yeah... it'll turn out okay, not the best" but it actually turns out to a beautiful photograph that you want to share!

Really, really like this shot the best of your florals. Details are great and the DOF is super. Really like the way the details are really sharp on the left side then soften moving to the right. The composition forces your eyes to just slide over to the right to take in the whole shot. Great job. Jan

Nice composition - Don't think it's my screen or my eyesight, but does this shot have a thin very faint white horizontal line just above the half-way mark of the photo? Looks a little like some of the photos I would get back after having them developed - perhaps the processing machine scratched the photo or negative. It certainly is a lovely shot though. Jan
