I'm not sure what you were trying for here. Perhaps a photographer comment or two?

I just love your urban landscapes they keep me up at night. They are so apocalyptic they freak me out......... where has everyone gone! I live in a country that has a population of 4 million and I can never find anything that resembles this.

Keep up the good work

...so quiet...love it -- I am with you on this one .. it takes a special eye to see this .. the color and the comp are excellent ... so many times I try to capture a scene such as this and it looks like a poor snapshot of what I saw -- but this is ... all I can say is nice.. .. K

Good solid geometric composition. The color and bright saturation make this a wonderful shot.

I really enjoy the "Roadside America" shots as I glance through here...

Hi Dennis

Intriguing elements within this image. The figure reflected in the mirror, the tv advertising cars and the door with the security chain attached all add a sense of tension. It's like a scene from a david lynch movie. I can't make my mind up about which I think is this pictures appeal.

Your strange and familiar visions of roadside america really get my memories and blood pumping. It seems like you and I have some crossover subjects where we shoot inside our cars at the road or at objects zipping by. I also take most of my compositions while on vacation.

For this particular photograph, I get to see this strange lighting right about now in the fall and winter on my drive home every night. Calm, strange, and a little too quiet. neat photo.

Dennis, great light and suspense here . the person walking toward you give the photo tension and makes the viewer wonder what is going to happen - I like that - you seem to put some spectacular color in your images - reminds me of the Kodachrome days .. K

This is our first meeting on the pages of UF, Mr. Komis. I looked through your whole portfolio, as you don't give any details in your bio. Your photos, all good ones I will add, put you in various places in the US, in France while in others you don't give away a specific place. I guess you live somewhere in the US and traval a great deal in it and abroad. I opted to comment on your "Evangeline La" becuase I liked its composition and its colors.
I thank you for your friendly comment on my "Getting wet". Although the two young men in the photo resmbled each other and you were not the first to ask if they were twins, I did not speak to them and cannot give a definite answer.
You are, of course, invited to read my bio and pay further visits to my potfolio.
Best regards,
Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communications) Springmann
