A good play with light and shadows. The diagonal lines give some dynamics to the picture.

Brrr..looks cold. Good pinkish hues on the snow but I think something is missing in this picture. Perhaps birds flying high in the upper left corner of the picture should do it.

There's nothing that I don't like in this picture. Good exposure for the sky. I would agree with Pablo re the B&W version.

A stunning composition. Great job at isolating the important elements. I would prefer a low angle shot with plenty of foreground but this is pretty all the same.

Simple but elegant picture. Good contrast - whites are white and blacks are black.

This is a nice photo. I've been to the woods many times but have never been able to catch the filtered sunrays. Great job.

A very amusing shot. I think it would make a better picture if the celloplayer smile a little.

A very comical shot. I would prefer a tighter crop around the dog-house. Nice picture all the same.

Wonderful composition. The person in the foreground completes the picture. Good choice on chosing B&w format.

Another super shot. Good choice on the wide format.

P.S. (chee throwing arms in the air) That's it, I'm getting a Canon 10D!

I'm a big fan of water/slow exposure shots. I like this shot a lot. Do you have one that shows a bit more of the scene?

a very nice closeup/profile shot of Buddha. While the front lighting shows some details, I would prefer sidelighting to bring out the contours.

Beautiful colours. Love the wispy(if there's such a word) waves in the foreground.

My my. you have been busy. I'd like a tighter crop on the bird - ie isolate on the head + blurry background.

Another great picture from Kevin. I would also like to see a Kevin Temple's super-saturated colour version.

I see that you have finally come to play near brighton. Very nice composition - ziggy lines in the picture. Good exposure.

Sorry to draw on your picture. I play along the yellow line - a few km out from brighton.

A very classic look. Good use of lines leading into the picture. I think the cropping is a bit tight but this is a nice picture all the same.

ps thanks for your comments on my pictures.

Joshua, you have very well composed watershots. I think, however, most (4/5) are underexposed. Canon cameras have the built-in super-intelligent-metering-systems. Try setting camera to expose for the foliage/mid-tones.
