Hi Alain, Outstanding composition, and very well exposed. I visited your portfolio, and I admire your clean and simple approach, producing a vast variety of different subjects. Pure gems! The tones in this shot are beautiful, and the high level of details is beautiful. Very good shot!

Alain, your portfolio is magnificent very interesting and very clean, your photos invite me to think to see and to love the simple and see the beauty in every day things. You are in no doubt a great artist. I especially like this picture because it is very simplistic love the colors and personally I really like shadows, all 3 shadows are very interesting to observe. The distorted shadow of the chair, gives it a dreamy look, the diagonal shadow of the wall cuts the chair and makes a great line, most of all the shadow of what looks like a lamp fits great I especially like how it sits on top of the window. The composition is perfect, as is everything! Congratulations!!!! I would love to see an interesting looking person in the chair I think it could make a very cool sequence. Again Congatulations!!!

I love the long curving shadows in this photo. The minimalist composition is really wonderful.
I was wondering what you thought about brightening the window up? I tried it in Photoshop myself and I think it helped to bring out the color of the window, though I don't know if you think it looks artificial now?
Either way the composition is really very nice, and it's a stunning photo.

oh! beautiful shot.
The black of a window, the white of a wall, and the light color of a shadow.. composition are very wonderful. I like this.
(an interesting shadow is like a living thing very interesting.)
