Thanks Fadel. I'm not a photoshop junkie, but it is fun to play once in a while.

Hi Richard,
There's that nice warm, end of day light again! It looks great. Just like one of those old oil paintings. The fence adds nicely to this composition as well.

Hi Richard,
I'm pretty sure you got it right, and the house is sagging a little. The image wouldn't have looked right if you straightened the house up. A lot of these old places are like that. That one of mine that I showed you a while ago is pretty crooked too.

Funny you should mention that, at first I thought my image was 1 degree from level. I played with rotate function in Photoshop for 20 minutes, before deciding it was the house not me. Every time I look at this pic I still wonder if I made the right decision.

That is exactly what I am hoping Tim. I show my photography in a gallery with several fine landscape painters, and I have envied the emotional envolvement they have with the act of painting. I love the Georgian Bay landcape I photograph, so I thought ...... why not try to paint them. I am really looking forward to the personal growth that comes from learning too.

Hey i hope you will enjoy painting! It can be so rewarding and introspective. So much of who you are comes out in the process.

Beautifull picture. I liked very much. A cor do telhado está contrastando com o restante do ambiente. Dez.
Meus parabéns.

Hi Richard,
I see the cows are in the same place and you moved to the other side. The lighting seems more pleasing in the previous posts, but this is just different that's all. You could have at least jacked up the side of the house to straigten it up for your shot

Thanks again Vanessa. Well some days I do feel a little like the Tin Man. Maybe some oil (or a single malt Scotch) will help???????
