Thanks Larissa. I think abandoned houses are great subjects too. I always take care when exploring, sometimes the structures are not too stable.

Thanks Sergio. I like the colour version too, but I sell mostly B+W. Maybe this colour shot will change that.

I think I prefer it in colour. I like the colour of the roof and the cow. Great composition!
Congrats!

Great moody landscape. I love the abandon houses, they are spooky, but very dramatic.

By the way Richard,
Isn't it great to be able to show off Ontario to the rest of the world on this site?

Richard,
The B&W version of this looks great too. I give my vote to the colour version, just by a hair. I think the late afternoon light works a little better in the colour version, if only in the lower third of the image.

Hi Richard,
Like most people have already commented, the light is wonderful in this shot. A very well composed and balanced image as well.
Whenever we drive home from the cottage at the time of night when the shadows are long, I always want to get out and take shots of everything.

No worries my friend. If you do make it up, I'd love to give you a tour. I love Georgian Bay, and never miss an opportunity to show it off.

Thanks Tim. The D70 has changed the way that I approach B+W photography. The B+W landscape is what I show, and what I love.
BTW ..... I have decided my next project (a lifelong one)is to learn to paint.

Love old rural stuff and this one is very well done. Good end of the day colors highlighting the end of the earlier dignity. Great stable layout and dramatic skies. Well presented. n.j
