excellent portrait - the heavy shade on the eyes really works here: you managed to get a very powerful expression without the "traditionally" most expressive element of a face.

Excellent portrait! I agree with Jeanette about "scandinavian touch" and this is just wonderful. Deep and melanholic moods... I love this dark lightning and simple composition.

A great idea. I like it when I see a truly original shot on this site. I often walk around the house looking at what might provide an original interesting photo, but the bath-plug never caught my eye! I think if the hole was positioned just a touch further down; about the same distance as it is from the left-hand side, the composition would be a little stronger. But I like it, it's a good idea and it works well in its simplicity. Well done.
