I used one lightbox and placed it next to the model a little above her head. I use red filter (25) and set the meter at the brightest spot on the model. I start with her body- move it until I have the desired effect and then ask her to slightly rotate her head. You have to learn to anticipate the final effect, which is different from what your eyes normally see. Regards.

Marty, I used one softbox and placed it on the side of the girl. Made sure I have a triangle on her right cheek and a little catchlight in her eye.

I am amazed that this camera can produce such good images. I own one of them myself and one photo many of my friends consider as my best so far was taken with Kiev 88 Congrats on well deserved ECP!

Jeff, I agree with your comment. All the shots were taken within two shoots and I did not know the results until after I was done. Now I know how to avoid that hairlight.
