The color is all out of the camera. I use PS to accentuate the colors, with mainly brightness and contrast changes to help make the colors stand out...but they are all on the digital capture. I just tweak them a bit...I did the same with film to get the best out of a film image. PS just makes it a bit easier and is so much fun to use...

This is a very nice shot, however I think the edge of the cliff is a little sharp, especially toward the top of the cliff. Bet its a great view from up there. Cheers!!

Dear Tom Mcdonell. we are two 13 year old boys that are just starting a cd and we love your picture of the foggy trees and wanted to know if we could use it on the front of our cd cover.

Hi Tom, i love this picture of yours. What makes it for me is the touch of light in the bottom left of frame compared to the unknown on the right of frame. It gives it real depth! Well done. Beautiful atmosphere. Regards Neil

Thanks for your comments Bruce. Actually, I like the spot of colored leaves in the lower left corner which I feel sets off the remainder of mostly monochromatic appearance. But it doesn't make a bad B&W shot. I was surprised at another site, it has been my highest viewed pic with over 19,000 views in past 2 weeks...Now if I had a nude in it, it would probably go into six figures...
