The image above is actually a normal image blended with a infrared image (hoya R72 infrared filter)
and processed with PS-CS2 and Neat Image program for
the blur effect. Also with lots of practice and patience.

We were about 100 ft short of reaching 7,000 foot
level. I am working on Panoramic view of Maple Pass consisting of about 7 to 9 images and will post on

Very nice infrared shot. I like to see more of your IR shots. Makes me want to break out my IR filter out and do some Infrared shots.

This image was supposed to be a test run of my New D300 camera that I just received the day before. So I am very impressed
how this camera performed.

This image didn't have a Magical feeling at the time
it was shot. Instead this was created from the mood I was in since my Mom (Valerie) passed away after
suffering from the terrible Alzheimer's disease a couple of days before this was shot.

I have to strongly disagree to the previous comment above. The whole point of this image is to include the footprints in the foreground and it is part of the composition that I created. This is my style of photography I choose to do.
Thanks for the input.

I can only judge that there were thousands of leaves
laying out there. Also some the leaves were still on the trees, however I went to the same place 2 days later just about all the leaves were off the trees.
