Take heart...I've had many cats live past 20 and currently we have one nearly 19. She's beautiful and you captured her feline beauty with much sensitivity.

Thanks for the tip Richard, I'll check it out when I have more time. I too like soft pastels used in this way, like the early photos of people like Wallace Nutting and Charles Henry Sawyer...I LOVE those hand tinted photos! I have paints to do that kind of work but have not had much time to try it out. Hopefully one day I will find the time.

Beautiful hollyhock...the single flowered (old fashioned variety) such as you show here are my favorites. The background is perfect for the flowers.
