This photo has good potential. I love the angle in which you have captured the young girl. The chair is quite distracting though. The black just stands out too much. Maybe you could crop the photo in a way that displays that wonderful face. Just a suggestion!

Thanks Doyle for your comment! I agree with you that the sweater gets lost into the BG. I went ahead and made a duplicate layer, adjusted levels and then erased the sweater to reveal the "lighter" version. I think it helps!

She's adorable Jennifer . . . and you've captured those smiling eyes so very well! Great catchlight in them. I would think the result would have been even more dynamic had the BG and the sweater been a little more different in tone . . . she tends to disappear into the BG! Still . . . awesome shot!
