wonderful image, great orange color from the berries, they look like habenearos.... this thought makes me think the image has a heat and warm tone but you compensate that with what looks like ice or snow on the bottom of the berries...

wonderful

actually Erik i have a sunset shot from this almost same location from that night, it will get uploaded in the next couple days... thanks for the comment, look forward to seeing more of your work from rocky mtn NP, i like your image of the church better than mine, i just looked at it and yours with snow makes for a much better composition and frame.... weird that it looks like there is a foot of snow on the ground in yours and in mine not 8 hours later there is no snow at all except on longs peak....

wonderful capture of zion, did you get the chance to hike into the narrows? i have a picture in my gallery from there, also a gallery owner which has gained much recongnition has a gallery there Micheal Fattali a wonderful landscape photographer, and now very well known, the light that he captures is amazing, he does a lot of canyoneering, and finds wonderful spots to shoot... great image of zion though, i cant wait to go back..

wonderful cliff image, i love the deep blue of the water, and the bright baby blue of the sky against the green of the grass, it contrasts the peice of cliff that seemed to just fall into the water some years ago... great image, only suggestion is the fence in the lower right, and barb wire, wish it wasnt there, but doesnt hurt the image by any means...\

Jim thanks for your comment, yeah i had a petzel halogin headlamp in my pocket, i was solo on the hike and got a little spooked by a bull elk that was bulgeling in the distance only to walk within 50 yards of me, there scream was a mix of cayote and a baby screaming, i didnt know what it was till i saw the massive animal... i will do the sunset of this lake, i will hopefully have someone to join me on the hike though.
