Hallo Peter, je maakt me heel erg nieuwsgierig.

Ramon.

Cute picture. 7 out of 7 for you! I really like composition. But I have to say I have a weak heart for monkeys.

Best wishes,
Ramon

Hi Ryan, thanks for your comment. You are right about the grain, it is really disturbing. I have to find other ways to sharpen my pictures better. The way I do it now brings this result, sadly. I now use unsharp mask, but maybe too much.

Best wishes,
Ramon

Nice shot of this caracara. Did you know that the colour near the eye changes of excitement from yellow to orange? Normally it is yellow. The leather on the right leg is not so disturbing in this picture, I normally do not show any sign of captivity in my animal-photography. But with birds of prey it is mostly difficult when you want to present them as a whole bird. A headstudy is nice, but to present it how you did even more.

Great job, well done!

Regards,
Ramon

Thank you for your comment Pat.

I was told this had to be a young stellar, from the other one I am sure about. For this one I have my questions too Pat, the head looks so different, but the shape of the body is as massive as the stellar.

Maybe ''Armando'' knows it, he is a falconer too and has his place here on usefilm.
Just wait till he will post his respond.

Kind regards,
Ramon

Wowwww how great, The focus is now on the bird, and the mind is trying to look around it cause of the blurring effect, wich creates an illusional 3D. I love the innocent face of this bird..))

7 out of 7 !!

Very well presented, what a beauty! Like the detail very much.
I am curious how it will look with a blurred background. I guess the bird will then pop out even more.

Very well done!!

Ramon

Thanks for your comment Marete. I was thinking.. should I have taken away that fish in the back, but it gave more depth in the picture. It was disturbing the picture a little .. my opinion.

I do not have so much up with fish to photograph them, always reflections in the glass and stuff..or you see yourself standing mirrored in the picture.. But this was one I had to share.

I will rush to your portfolio to see what more you have done today )

Kind regards,
Ramon

Hi Merete..)) If I live in this zoo?, no not actually. But I have worked in a zoo this last season as a falconer, giving demonstrations with birds of prey, flying them over the heads of the ppl, hunting after them etc. I do often come in different zoo's, I am crazy about animals and to take pictures. Maybe I will change my photo-subject on this site to something else in the coming period, all those animal pics.. it's boring for some ppl.

Ramon

Hehe thanks for your comment. About your question, I think you relate it to an joke I made earlier that it is better to sell my printer, cos it will run out of ink too quick everytime when I want 'to save' some beautifull pictures I see here on UF. I did not ment to sell pictures...no way! )

I will do more with photoshop too in the coming weeks, noticed that ppl are more interested in it than the regular shots.

Thx
Ramon
