Thanks, Wayne. I visited Texas for the first time this past year ... Austin and Dallas and quite a few small towns in between. I absolutely loved it! Great folks. Also took a fancy to your state bird.

Superb ... authentic expression, masterly handling of difficult lighting.

Lovely image. My daughter, who is rapidly exceeding me in photo skills, loves to take pictures of water and the stuff just underneath. I'll show her your portfolio.

She reminds me very much of a favorite model of mine ... nicely captured, Paul! I love the harmonic (so to speak) use of color here.

Thanks, Ashley. The image is cropped from the original, so there is room to do what you suggest. I'll try it!

Great image, Kevin. Appreciate the technical info ... this is not a simple point and click picture, obviously.

I too like the blur ... something about the effect that is extremely sensual.

A super image, Antonio. One nitpick is the model's nose ... could use a bit of post processing to even it out (the seeming discoloration may not even be visible in the print version). Catchlights in the eyes would be go nicely with the smile, in my opinion.

When I look at portraits, I ask myself if I would like to have a conversation with the subject. The answer here is yes ... you've caught her intelligence and inner spirit. Bravo.

I like the diagonal composition. Hotel room ambiance in this case adds to the sensuality.

It is indeed a wonderful place. Let's hope the "progress" exemplified by the construction sites seen here do not change the magic.
