Ta Dottie....thanks so much for the comment. I can't take much credit for it though as it is an action that I ran over the image and tweaked ;-)

thanks Girish, the softness is from a series of (well priced) actions I bought - http://www.craigsactions.com/ It is called 'Shadowsoft" and I therefore can't take much credit for that as I have only tweaked the layers. The light was created from the downlight in my ceiling - I loved the spotlight it made.

thanks Roland - my stark room called for it I think!! The action used is Shadowsoft and I bought it for a reasonable price from http://www.craigsactions.com/ - basically I ran the action and then simply tweaked the layers to my liking - easy peasy!

I like this the most of the 3. I particularly like the hair DA and the light is just perfect. I like how you can feel her tenderness. I reckon this would look fab in square format!

Yeah - I like it too, perhaps a little too 'neat imaged' it has softened a little too much. This would be great as a grainy bw (to mask the noise a little). Guys can take a more 'gritty' image IMHO.

This is sooooooo beautiful. I loved the one of Jackson last year but I prefer this because that interaction is so cute and so typical. Typical girl - chatter chatter, typical male - head down and getting to where he's going!!

excellent action shot, love that tongue lol!! I particularly like the frozen water droplets and the sun flare. IMHO - the top needs to be cropped out, the white in the background distracts you from the kids. If you crop just above the girls wayward strand of hair, you then bring the kids nicely onto the upper third and the movement of the water and the kids leads your eye right through the frame.
