Great portrait Tiffany. Wonderful colours, textures and setting. The one thing that bothers me a bit is the high angle you chose. I think a lower angle from their eye level would give a more relaxed and intimate result. Great work.

The rocks provide a nice textured, neutral backdrop. The mark in the right rock even helps draw the eye towards the subject. I would like to have seen more of her right hand and arm since I like the positioning of her arms and hands. If not then perhaps cropping just above her right hand.

Love this - you know you don't have to "repost" it - just move it into the catagory if you like? I learned that from Kelly M.
Wonderful sky here and those clouds are awsome.

I love the action too . I think the shot would have been even more successful if you could see more of her profile... may it's just me....

I just wanted to write something about the crop when I saw Dave Hanson's crop. His suggestion works great.
I think it would also work real good in B&W

I might crop off the bottem here. And maybe increase the contrast a little.

Thanks Stace. I actually have this shot both ways, with the focus on her and this one with the focus on the flowers. I liked the way she seemed far off like she's daydreaming in this one. I'll post the other too though.

so cute, i'm sure it captures who she really is this way! lol
great dof and colors.. i think it would be a great investment for you to pick up a silver and/or gold reflector tho.. then you can have the parents help hold it, or teach gabe to! ;D

it looks like you're focused more on the foreground flowers than elizabeth, and i'm not sure that's what you were going for.. it works well this way, but i think focusing on her would have been better, imo
=)

hmmmmmmm. personally I love the shot like it is. no cropping for me here. my only issue would be those dang sun spots. but overall this is taken very nice and clearly. I too have had issues with sun spots I just did a wedding not to long ago and the sun spots where my enemy. but it all turned out ok. I worked on them is ps. I think this the colors are fantastic and I bet this shot would make a stunning sepia portrait. the wood would give it a vintage look.
