Good pic in difficult circumstances. The shutter speed was a good choice, you get enough blur on the parts which were moving faster to convey motion well, though the rest is sharp.

This is a nice image, I like the way the angle of the light catches the whiskers and the fur. Good work!

My only criticism would be, the eye nearest the camera is a bit 'dead', I wonder whether a bit of weak fill-in flash might have given it a bit of sparkle, and 'lifted' the image.

Yeah, I like this, the subdued lighting seems entirely right for the muted colours and subtle curves in the landscape. Good work!

This is a striking image, well seen and captured. The plant itself does not particularly look like a cactus, but the shadow is almost a cartoon cactus, and its identity is unmistakable. Good work!

I like the contrast and limited tonal range, and the strong diagonal lines v the curvy cactus.

However, I think the image might be stronger, if you had cropped the top, to exclude the second plant container. I find it a bit distracting.

Yeah, everything works together here to create a fine study. The pose, lighting, location, composition. Delicate, elegant, warm, Great stuff!

A fine shot, subdued, but full of the possibilities of the day.

Agree with Ori, though, I think the composition would be stronger cropped on the left. The space there seems to pull everything backwards, whereas the rest of the picture is trying to head out to the right.

Like it! A fresh perspective (literally and metaphorically) on a familiar theme. Captures the straightforward pleasure of enjoying spring flowers perfectly.

Welcome to Usefilm, Roby. This is a nice study, and the limited range of tones complement the wistful feel of the pose. Good work.

Hi, Bartek, having another dip into your portfolio. I really like this one. What Daniel says is apt, solitude, though not really loneliness in a sad way. Paradoxically, the overall effect is warm, because of the strong sunlight, thopugh the tones in the image are cool.

Nice use of the light, and good composition.

I can see what Joe is getting at, but the half bike reinforces the idea of 'there's a whole world round the corner', so strengthening one reading of this image.

I like it! Not just the splashes of colour against the grey walls, but there's some nice textures and shapes in there, too.

Hi, nick, I've been having a dip into your portfolio. I do like your golden/red/pink sky and cloud effects, and this one is a particularly fine example. The composition here is perfect, the three main areas of the image are well balanced, reinforcing the rich satisfying tranquility of the mood.

Hi, Danny, thanks for your comment on my recent post. I've been having a dip into your portfolio and I like this one a lot; there's been other pics of it on Usefilm, but this one is quite original and creative. It's clever, the way the old shapes (the chimney pots) are echoed in the dark panels behind, but the colours/tones are in complete contrast. An unusual vision indeed!

Hi, Jorg, having a dip into your portfolio. This one is a fine symphony of colour. You clearly have an eye for this, urban and elsewhere!
