Great idea, deserving creepy effect.

This is a stellar close-up of the dragon fly, but I think that it lacks contrast, especially where the yellow flower is concerned. It could be spruced up quite a bit in PS (or GIMP). After that, it's a fantastic shot.

My girlfriend partakes in this every year. Good promotion!

Excellent job. Was this PS'ed at all? The saturation is amazing in the greens. Your incredible attention to detail in the macro led to a great photo.

Hello fellow Albuquerque-n. It's great to see your photos, as they reflect many things that I see as well. This is no exception, as I see the cacti blooms as quite possibly the most beautiful aspect of the desert. This is an awesome macro and I love the focus on the middle of the flower, very crisp.

The concept of this photo is very intriguing, but I fear that the lack of focus detracts from the image, especially knowing the capabilities of the D70. I would think that the focus should be on the point where the finger and the cake meet, so as to be most effective. Keep it up!

The atmosphere is stellar in this photo. Great job with such a camera as well. The detail is exceptional.

Wow! This photo is absolutely awesome...I love the clarity and all of the different tones of b&w. The lighting and focus is very effective. Into the favorites....

The quality on this photo is different, but I like it, nonetheless. The reason why I like it so much is because of the atmosphere that the clouds, the lonely boat, and the b&w tones create. It is very effective in this manner. Great job.

Fantastic image. I love the composition, because it so nicely focuses on the toxic water, and its cause in the distance. I would love to see this in B&W for I think it would be even more powerful.

Beautiful high-contrast, high-lighting photo. It has almost an infrared quality. Great job.

your pictures speak to me like poetry...I suppose because of the expressions, they are always so confidently confused. Nicely done.

Is it poison ivy? That looks different than the breed I've been trained to see. Either way, I love the DoF in this photo and its ability to lead the eye. I also love the "earthiness" of the colors.

Excellent photo! I like the play on textures here with the brick and the wood. The composition is especially effective as it ties these elements together. Nice job.

Seems like a place with a lot of stories to tell. I like the colors, especially the emphasized color of the silted water. Overall, nice job.

Very powerful composition and framing. I agree that the blur makes it seem almost as if it's a watercolor painting. Very impressive shot.

I really love the selective color in this. It creates a powerful piece of journalism. As for the form of advertisement, I believe it is disgusting and one more step towards a world of complete corporate domination. I'm glad you photographed this step. Thanks.

Very cool. I love the uneven lines as they wrap around and warp in all different directions. Of course, the simplicity of the window is gorgeous. Great job.

I ove the reds on the right that contrast the grain of the old wood. The contrast is very effective.

This is fantastic! The colors are perfect as well as the difficult exposure. I wouldn't change anything. Good job dealing with the sun head on!

It's an excellent idea. You could have made it even more abstract had you not given away the constituents in the title. Nicely done.

Beautiful! The film grain is very tasteful as well as the overall tones. The composition is also very powerful, helping to breathe one last breath into this dead beauty.

Fantastic clouds and lighting contrasts. Overall, the picture has somewhat of a grainy feel...if not grainy than some other uneven texture. Was this added or not?

I think this is my favorite of the terminal because it shows off your masterful cloud techniques. Nice catch on lighting.
