You have achieved a very ominous atmosphere here mainly because of the size of the subject coupled with the sky and the odd lighting. Really a great picture!

Wow. I'm in awe not only of the photo but the accompanying haiku. Such a serene photo, something I strive for with showing nature's beautiful simplicity in its most complex state of existence.

Wow, your portfolio deserves more attention. This is a very notable picture. The overall white-ness of it distinguishes it as innocent and very pure. Great attention to detail.

It was very difficult to stand peacefully as they yelled out such things as "feces eaters etc." It amazes me that hatred like this can run so fluently through some people. Thanks for your comments.

Thanks a lot, Kristin. I'm doing all of this for my own edification and it seems that every now and then I upload a picture that people can relate to, so I get some comments. I wish it was more consistent because I'm treating this like a photo class, but your comments and the others here are enough to keep me occupied and have a glance at your portfolios as well! Thanks again.

Fascinating lines created by the fence up to the top of the hill. I might crop out the road, but that's very minor IMHO. The red roof is gorgeous against the moody sky.
