Good job at night Lee. Pauls suggestion is worth looking into. High contrast shots offer difficult exposure treatment. Regards Ron. It's so easy to recognize that huge wheel now. I guess it is defining London, sorta.

Good colors and reflections. The warm atmosphere caused by the whitebalance fits the scenery quite well. What I would've done differently though would have been to only concentrate on one of the many elements in the scene.. perhaps the London Eye or the Houses of Parliament, but not all together. There's also too much empty space up top which takes the viewers' attention away from what's important in the frame. It's always hard to get a spot on shot of such a wide area of interest, which is why it's sometimes best to only focus on one subject. Best regards, Niclas

The only thing I see about this shot to improve would be that Big Ben's clock face is over-exposed.
If you are using a tripod and have Photoshop CS2, high contrast, high-dynamic images like this can benefit from HDRI treatment, which allows you merge a sequence of shots, from way under to way over-exposed, into one 64-bit image for manipulation; it's great! Then, you could have proper exposure on both the water, the sky AND Big Ben's clock face.
Overall, very nice skyline, Lee!

Night photography is not easy.
You did manage to capture this image in a very nice way, the composition is wonderful and so the lighting which shows that the expouser for such capture was within the correct figures.
The colors are very pleasaing.
I thought there was still more room for a better sharpness of the over all of the image, other wise I did enjoy viewing this photograph a lot.
All of the best my friend

Hi Lee. This is a cute shot. Adorable little model there as well. As for the crop. I would have brought it down some more so that the child's eyes were in the top third of the photo. Or, if there is more to the shot below her chin, put it back in there becuase the hat is adorable and I could see not wanting to crop it out. Angela
