well GG I have not enough experience with this film. only two rolls but the grains are big yes. maybe this is because I make the negatives with d-76 but this is the only developer I have used )) Very sad, no?

pretty funny.. I just noticed that lens.

I used huge amounts of duct tape and equally huge amounts of epoxy to get the lens in place. Really does a nice job though for the holga. I took this foto from roughly 100 meters )))

GG - interesting point of view here. Such a striking person!

the contrast looks a little flat to me. Is this a result of this lens? It is also sharp for a soft lens

the foto is pretty good - and sure you are a beautiful person. but why not back up a little from only photographing the face. use your environment more. introduce some life, elements, ambiance. you know what I'm saying?

or Tracey you can hand cut the 6x4,5 mask to make a 6x6 mask. makes a bit of a strange border in every foto

have fun!

thank you for the 'how to' -- very good lesson.

I love the seaweed pattern... so much that maybe it would be interesting to only see that with this great branch (similar to your crop but with more seaweed). what do you think?

maybe even print on a hard grade paper to bring the pattern out more??

Joyce, I think it's a beautiful photograph. this little child has an amazing face - great communication with the viewer!

I didn't see if this was digital or not? the tones look thin to me with very little separation in the mid tones.

and for me this little girl's face seems to communicate a little stress (fantastic) so to include a little environment in this foto would have made it fantastic. it looks a little studio'ish -- if the environment was there, then you would have more life and more story in the foto.
