Hi Mervo.
Good to see you back and posting a few really interesting images. I like all three of the recent postings. This one has got me trying to figure out how you did it. I like the air of whimsy about the image. There is a light hearted feel to it.
I'm doing a lot of wildlife lately, and not so much of the creative photography, but every now and then I get the urge to try something a little over the top.

Lovely wall and table textures add up to the atmosphere a lot!I like the composition, not in a photographic kind of way, but artistic.The flower branch gives the warmth and optimism to the decadence and the mould of time. Like a new born baby, lying on the table of transiency, reminding us of our mortality and vulnerability.

Hello Mervo,
How are you doing over there on the other side of the world?
As soon as I saw this image, my first thoughts were that you have recreated a version of Bresson's famous image of the man jumping over the water puddle.
Check out this little excert and you will find that the right project for this image is "The Decisive Moment"
Things are not too busy around this site lately. I bet there is less than a quarter of the activity there used to be a few years ago.

I think the car is what makes the photo unexpected, and I love how you caught it just enough to know where you are and then see something so small and beautiful in complete focus. The definition of the street is beautiful! I love this! :)
