Hi Mark -- yes, a great capture of fear, wonder, happiness. These street photos are great -- I really enjoy them.

I agree with the comment on the pole. Tried cropping further, but it became a bit to narrow and some was left at the bottom anyway. When I have a chance I'll try some PS magic. Thanks for the comment! Mark

Thanks Racheal ... certainly it is a life with a lot of pain. Starting with the scars and the earlobes.

Right ... I agree not a "slick" capture. I liked it for the bands of color, the grouping of the elephan herd, the echo (negative) of the zebras.

Actually, th experience was unique, with the ridge we were driving on, the vast marshland and the other ridge in the distance. It was a fantasti place there. We had just climbed Mt Kilimanjaro at 19,430' and were still adreneline charged ... wonderful!

I find the subject interesting in that I have not seen nor heard of that behavior. I also like the composition in that the groups of elephants and zebras act as a repetetive motif. There is a nice abstract quality about this picture even if it is not a 'slick' sharp picture...

this is a good capture, but i just wish that pole (or whatever it is to the left) wasn't there. i find it really distracting.

Tried with Unsharp mask. Relatively low light, low ISO film, quick snap.

Unfortunately, best it gets.

Beautiful shot... But it looks a bit out of focus. Have you tryed to get a sharpen image in PS? May be you can get better definition. Well done!
