Beautiful lighting on this scene, Bob, and the colour contrasts are very good! Nicely composed with the framing of the tree on the left, too.

Thanks agin Nessa this is one of my best sun rises
I took 368 photo that morning to get the tight shots in the can.Not all of the Castle though lol,

Thanks Dave,this shot gose back some time,it was taken at an Airshow in Scotland with my old lumix
camera.I have moved on since those days and own a
very fancy camera quite an eye catcher it is too.

Thanks Dave,it was quite a misty morning when we arived to the beach but the mist diminished later,
it was a difiquilt shoot with the sun chainging light all the time.I took three hundred shots that morning and ended up with about 15 good shots
and avraged one hundred and fifty in all.

Very nicely composed, Bob! I like the way the cloud and mist obscure the castle slightly, but allow the sun to poke through and provide beautiful lighting on the beach and surf.
