From my (very) limited experience i can tell you that using a flash would have made the picture more evenly exposed, so one half wouldn't be overexposed and the other underexposed, but you probably know this since you mentioned not using a flash. I'm not familiar with your camera, but if you take shots thrugh glass, most cameras i've used tend autofocus on glass and not the subject. Apart from this, obviously using manual settings.
There! I've said absolutely nothing you didn't already know

P.S. One more thing you could try, get a fluffyer cat :P

Hehe. It's just some dried up petels. Years ago i took a camera aprat and i saved all the lenses. I used one of those lenses. I held it in front of the camera like a small magnifing glass and managed to get extreme macro, that petel is just 1 cm away from the lens.
Thank you again for the comment

It actually does look like a nuke on the side, but your wrong about how I took the shot. I had the camera focused the candle flame. I took some matches and brought them close to the flame and they burst into flames, that's the initial "explosion" from when the matches catch fire.
Thank you.

Welcome to usefilm and congratulations on your first uploaded photograph!
Interesting concept, i can see how this would have been a good shot were it not for the noise and lack of detail.
Best regards, Fabi

Fantastic work, very nice details. It looks perfect, but i have to say the DoF doesn't work in you favour at the top of the picture.

Very nice colour and perfect silhouette, the fisherman looks like a void of light against such beautifull shades of orange.

I tried it in B&W, imho it looks better in colour, maybe if it had more detail it would have looked betterin B&W.

Wow! beautifull shot! Interesting perspective. It's really nice that you chose to use B&W over colour. Oh! and the lens flare give it a great feeling.

Wow! what detail. Good job my friend! And what vivid colours too! But the DoF is a narrow, it would have been better if more of the flower was in focus too.

Beautiful view! I love the composition, it is perfect for this scene. Also the man in the background waiting makes me think, he reminds me o Charon, who fared the dead across the river Styx, but that's just me

Cer foarte intersant, si reflexie dubla(o data in oglinda si inca o data in geam).
Am vazut poza si mi-am dat seama ca e o dacie, dupa care m-am uitat la detalile tale si am vazut ca esti roman

Impresive. Especialy the colour fade from red to blue in contrast with the dark sky. You made a good decision to let the 2 little stars (assuming they are actually stars) in the photograph, it makes for interesting composition.

It's amazing. Great DoF, very good macro photography. At this scale lighting, size relative to the camera and the camera lens itself creates interesting effects.

Just one thing: is it slightly out of focus, or was it blown up?

Interseting shot, the background is really nice and complements the other colours, also the squares on the wall work well. Love her eyes, she has a very expresive figure. The only flaw is that it's a little out of focus.
