welll. simple and great i love this subject and the selective focus so strong so cutting!!!
is a very good composition and isolation of the flower from the background!
also the flowers in the third of frame is a nice idea and technic..

Thank you very much for your very kind comment and suggestion, Miles. Though this was the closest I could get from my compact (not really the closest though, it was the distance that won't disturb the butterfly), I think I should have cropped it a bit just like what you said. As for the blur I was trying to imitate the work of Magnar Bornes though, I think I failed at that

Thank you for your comment. Yes, it took me quite sometime to get this picture, almost 2 hours to wait for this butterfly to perch on that particular flower, and for it to open up the wings, and most of the time it flew away . Regards.
