The way you colored the Vespa and the sign is brilliant and a real eye-catcher. I got the instant feel of The Who and Small Faces by just seeing the thumbnail.....i truly love it

that additional image of just the bike and arrow in color is pretty cool! you have a photo that I think people would buy if you would choose to mass produce it.

Oh really, what type of env eng work do u do? Do you find it rewarding?
The course Im doing was new.. it is called BEng (Environmental Systems) but I unfortunately havent done proper environmental engineering yet (waste water stuff, air pollution stuff, solid waste management) because the course focussed on renewable energy systems (which Im not all that hopeful about as a reliable future energy source) and also a human ecology major which Im doing in another department. So I plan to do a 1 year graduate diploma next year at another uni in environmental engineering to learn all the proper stuff.

what if only one object of your image had color, such as only the arrow, only the bike, or only the man's blue pants??
Nice work

I've always enjoyed a black and white photos with at least one definite black and definite white area. I also like your long shutter speed inwhich you captured this image. Nice work. FYI I also do environmental engineering work.

A favorite comment I like to use about going from my Kodak DX6490 to my new Canon 20D is that "it's like going from a Vespa to a Ferrari".
Nice colors and exposure, Andrew.

I like the way the fan of the bamboo frames the trekkers and jus the look of satisfaction and exhaustion on their faces. The sepia toning is also effective, I think that is what gives it the Vietnam war feeling.

Cute. The people up there are wonderful.
Love your own portrait with the monkey, too! Looks like Angkor Wat, or similar site. Some of the monkeys we ran into in Burma, Bali and India were a little too bold.
